U:RESIST is supporting Obama, but with opened eyes. We know that in order for him to do what needs to be done, it will take a lot of pressure from his base. Voting for the bailout was a huge disappointment. Nader is probably right, he always is. The peace movement knows that it will take a lot of work to get him to end the Bush wars, especially since he spoke of escalating the war in Afghanistan.

This Wear Your Resistance fashion show was a celebration of hope and activism for political change towards social justice. The show was intended to inspire each of us to wear our values, making social change a part of our everyday experience, and to keep the conversation going, the pressure on, and to never let up in our efforts to hold those in power accountable. Wear your resistance and be a conversation piece for peace. ☮
